This MAT trailer hub and drum is designed to mount on a 3,500 lb idler axle with a #84 spindle. The bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2″.  Trailer hub and drums gives a gripping surface for the brake shoes when you apply the brakes. They are compatible with both electric or hydraulic 2-1/4″ brake assemblies. Inner bearing, outer bearing, grease seal, EZ lube grease cap, lug nuts, and all attaching pieces are included. The greased inner bearing and grease seal are already installed and the outer bearing is greased and ready for installation. Durable steel construction offers a 1,750 lb. hub capacity.

**Be sure and know your bolt pattern before your purchase.** The center stud to center stud measurement can help you determine your bolt pattern or refer to the chart on the left.
Bolt pattern measurements are as follows. 2-5/8″ is 4-1/2″ bolt pattern, 2-3/4″ is 4-3/4″ bolt pattern, 3″ is 5″ bolt pattern, and 3-1/4″ is 5-1/2″ bolt pattern.

EZ Lube Information:

With the EZ Lube grease cap, you will be able to lube your bearings easily and cleanly. Simply remove the rubber plug on the grease cap and attach a grease gun to the grease zerk fitting on the end of the spindle and pump the grease. It allows easy flow to both inner and outer bearings. Quickly lube your bearings easy and mess free.
