RAM 20K trailer jack spring loaded drop leg trailer jack are designed to lift the trailer tongue up so you can attach the coupler to the ball hitch. The front facing dual-pin foot lever releases the spring loaded drop leg for an additional 13″ of height. Heavy duty gears and the large octagon bushing on the gear shaft makes for easier lifting. The added grease zerk allows for effortless maintenance. 9″ X 9″ jack foot minimizes sinking into the ground. The outer and inner tube is painted black. Weld on application. Jack handle and handle clip sold separately.

Trailer jacks are used to lift the trailer’s tongue so the tow vehicle can be hooked to the trailer. Know your trailer’s tongue weight before selecting your jack. Tongue weight is measured by the amount of weight that is applied to the rear of the tow vehicle. Your tongue weight is usually 10-15% of the trailer’s total weight. (Trailer + Pay Load). It is okay to have a jack that is rated for more than what you actually need.
